Record Cover: Step-by-step Guide

Below is a step-by-step guide on how I made my Record cover

I used Photoshop to edit together my record cover design.
When adding in my text i wanted to pick something simple and not too fancy as
my image is already quite eye-catching and i didn't want my text to make it look
to crowded and busy.
I decided i had to edit the image somehow as i didn't want to just leave it as
it is. I clicked to show the grid as this would help me select as close as i could
to the middle. Once i did that i used the select tool to draw a box around half
of the image to make that one half turn black and white, keeping the other half
coloured.

Here is a screenprint of my finished record cover design. I like the final outcome
of the image, it being half coloured and half black and white, as it give the cover
an effective look.
